Jeep® vehicles aren’t just trucks and SUVs—they’re your adventure partners! Lester Glenn Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM wants to make sure you don’t miss a moment of fun. Come by our dealership so we can check these Jeep service necessities off your list before your warranty expires.

What Does Your Jeep Warranty Cover?

Jeep vehicles are built to be rugged—and the automaker stands behind its product. Every new Jeep vehicle comes with a Basic Limited Warranty, which covers any defects in material or workmanship for 36 months or 36,000 miles. The Powertrain Limited Warranty provides similar powertrain coverage for five years or 60,000 miles.

You won’t pay for parts or labor should anything be defective. However, you must remember that this doesn’t include maintenance items like tires, motor oil, wipers, or other consumable parts designed to be replaced as they wear out.

What Kind of Service Should I Get Before Those Warranties Run Out?

Great question. At a minimum, you should schedule a bumper-to-bumper inspection. Although problems are rare in newer vehicles, we want to ensure that any necessary repairs are performed while they’re covered.

We also suggest performing a recall check. Recall repairs are covered even after the warranty expires, but if you’re going to be here anyway, it’s best to take care of everything in one fell swoop.

Finally, take time to address some maintenance essentials. As mentioned, they’re not part of your warranty coverage, but they’re the best way we know to start your SUV’s post-warranty life off on the right foot. Check for Jeep service specials before you visit, or ask about a maintenance agreement.
