- Monitor Your Tire Pressure: In addition to checking your fluid levels often, you also need to monitor your tire pressure closely. Your air pressure will change every day depending on the temperature. When tires don’t have the correct amount of air pressure, it will reduce your car’s fuel efficiency and it’ll cause your tires to wear much faster. If you’re not used to checking your tire pressure, make it a habit to check it every time you fill up your gas tank.
