There are so many different buying options when it comes to cars. In addition to new and pre-owned, you also have certified pre-owned models to consider.
If you have questions about whether or not a certified pre-owned Chrysler is worth it, this guide is for you. We’re answering all of our most frequently asked questions about our certified pre-owned (CPO) Chrysler vehicles.
Q: How old are CPO Chrysler models?
A: In order to be called “certified pre-owned,” Chrysler vehicles have to be five years old or newer. However, even if they are newer models, CPO Chrysler vehicles also can’t have more than 75,000 miles.
Q: Is there a record of previous ownership?
A: Every CPO vehicle comes with a CarFax® history report, which details how the car was cared for. It checks for things like:
- Accident indicators
- Recall information
- Maintenance and service records
- Frame or structural damage
Q: Do CPO Chrysler vehicles come with warranties?
A: You will be happy to know that every CPO Chrysler model is covered by a three-month/3,000-mile Maximum Care warranty that starts on the day of sale or at the end of the Basic New Vehicle warranty. This warranty covers over 5,000 components.
You’ll also get to take advantage of a Powertrain Limited warranty, which is good for seven years or 100,000 miles. To augment this warranty, you can choose one of three lifetime warranties that start on the day of purchase.
Q: Do CPO Chrysler vehicles come with other types of coverage?
A: Yes! Your CPO car will also be covered by 24/7 emergency roadside assistance, which includes:
- Deliveries of up to two gallons of gas
- Flat tire changes
- Battery jump-starts
- Vehicle unlocking services
- Towing services
