April is National Car Care Month and here at Lester Glenn Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM, we’re celebrating the arrival of spring by taking some time to care for our vehicles. You can participate too, whether you’re taking advantage of our Spring Sales Event by purchasing a new car or not.
That’s right! Whether you have a brand new 2019 RAM 1500 or a used Jeep Cherokee, the arrival of spring and April means that it’s time to take a moment to ensure that our cars are running smoothly and that we’ve finally put the winter in the Toms River, NJ area behind us.
To help you care for your car, we’re offering up some simple tips when it comes to routine auto care. We’re breaking it down by how often you should be checking and caring for specific areas.
There are several areas you’ll want to frequently keep an eye on, especially as we enter a new season. These areas include your dashboard indicator lights, exterior lights, tire condition and inflation, windshield fluid, and engine oil level.
Winter usually lasts longer than three months, which means it may have been a while since you last visited our Toms River Dodge service center for expert service. However, you should be checking your transmission fluid, battery, engine air filter, exhaust, hoses, and power steering fluid every three months, especially after winter.
Meanwhile, you’ll want to get your oil changed and tires rotated, as well as new wiper blades about every six months. So, don’t wait any longer this spring. Celebrate National Car Care month with Lester Glenn Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. We’ll inspect your vehicle and get you back on the road promptly.
