Right now is a great time to shop for a new 2019 model here at Lester Glenn Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM. Not only is the start of the new year one of the best times to upgrade your vehicle, but it’s also a fantastic time for car fans thanks to the Detroit Auto Show.
However, new models and a slew of exciting concept cars aren’t the only things making headlines. That’s because it seems that FCA, the automaker that makes Jeep vehicles, is looking to venture into new territory by experimenting with both a subscription service and car-sharing service for some popular Jeep vehicles.
While starting out on a small scale, the Jeep brand is looking to expand its offerings into both ride sharing and subscriptions. So, what does this mean? According to reports, the automaker is launching a three-month trial program that offers peer-to-peer sharing among Jeep brand owners.
Additionally, thanks to a partnership with Avis Budget Group Inc., the company is also testing a three-month subscription service that will allow owners to trade in their Jeep models for other popular FCA brand vehicles like Dodge and RAM models.
While the program isn’t available in the Toms River, NJ area during testing, if it goes well it could ultimately allow people new to the Jeep brand to test out new models before deciding to buy.
Although you may not be able to participate in these pilot programs at the moment, we here at your Toms River, NJ Jeep dealership want to help drivers find the perfect car for them. That’s why we invite you to visit our dealership to explore new models and take a few of your favorites for a test drive. We’re happy to do anything we can to help you find the right model for you.
